Mission

Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), is a youth-led gender-balanced advocacy group which focuses largely on environmental sustainability and public health. Founded in the year 2014, GAYO is dedicated to developing the human interest to observe basic natural laws and adopt the behaviour of living in harmony with nature.

The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, UNDRR can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.

The Africa Youth Advisory Board on Disaster Risk Reduction (AYAB DRR) is a board established under the African Union Commission (AUC) to promote meaningful youth engagement and involvement in DRR policy development, implementation and review across Africa.
