Mission
Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), is a youth-led gender-balanced advocacy group which focuses largely on environmental sustainability and public health. Founded in the year 2014, GAYO is dedicated to developing the human interest to observe basic natural laws and adopt the behaviour of living in harmony with nature.

“KNOW-DRR” Smartphone Edutainment application aims to present an innovative interactive tool for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) for the educational community and students in Africa and around the world.
Children and youth are on the frontline of disaster risk reduction (DRR) and resilience because of their agility and ability to absorb knowledge and communicate it rapidly to their peers.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, UNDRR can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.
