Mission

The Sendai Gender Equal Opportunity Foundation is, together with the citizens of Sendai, striving to make Sendai into a "City of Gender Equality" as rapidly as possible. The 'sanjokai' provides information on a gender-equal society and the empowerment of women so that each and every person can become a leading character in a society where men and women have equal opportunities to succeed in whatever they decide to undertake.
