Mission

The Trondheim Red Cross was founded in 1905 and has worked to uncover, prevent and alleviate humanitarian suffering in Trondheim ever since. We have over 1000 volunteers providing care for those in need. Located at the Red Cross building in Trondheim, we are a local branch of the Norwegian Red Cross

Voluntary Commitments

The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, UNDRR can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.

ENGAGE - Engage Society for Risk Awareness and Resilience

ENGAGE brings together 15 partners from 9 countries in order to provide novel knowledge and identify impactful solutions to exploit Europe's societal resilience. Ultimately, the work of ENGAGE seeks to establish a broader, citizen-centered approach to disaster risk.
