To Enhance Communities’ Capacities for Human & Environmental Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation, Response and Management while networking with other in-country players as well as international Agencies in implementing, coordination and managing disaster response and mitigation programs.
To be a leading Complementary Agency for Disaster Risk Reduction, Management and Response giving hope to the hurting world while taking a lead in minimizing disaster effects when and if they so occur.

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, UNDRR can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.
